When I read Tink’s assignment for this week, I immediately thought of this pic:
(see this post for the story)
But seeing as how I can’t leave well enough alone, here are some others:
WOOD as seen on a hike in the Wenatchee National Forest
(I love the tangled roots of these 2 trees)
A whole lotta METAL
(difficult to see, but my 4 kiddos are at the base of Seattle’s Space Needle)
One of my faves, a combo of WOOD and METAL …a brass bunny on my deck railing
Sad to say, I had plenty of (great?) ideas for composing some terrific metal shots, but didn’t make it happen over the weekend. *sigh* At least I was inspired! I’ll get there yet…
Great pictures! I love the one of the needle and the fallen tree. 🙂
#1 is what it’s all about!
The tree is spectacular. The brass bunny is scary. 🙂 Excellent.
Cool. How fun! I love the tree roots and the tower/needle.
I like the bunny. Very cool photograph. All of them are most excellent!
Oh! I LOVE the roots! Finding nature when it’s so uniquely beautiful like that is always great fun. Great pictures.
Wonderful stuff – those tangled roots – that dramatic shot of the Space Needle, rising up into the sunlight! And love your bunny on the railing – at first I thought it was the railing of a boat, and a foam of water was coming over the side! Now, I have to go read the story of the first picture –
a brass bunny…must have one.
I really like the bunny one, what an unexpected way to catch wood and metal. Something you probably never would have noticed! Nice.
those trees are amazing; what a hike that must have been!
