20 years and counting

A friend put this together for me last Friday.  She is so creative!
There are 20 tulips (one for each year), 4 brown twig accents (one for each child), and 2 silver accents twisted together (one my dh and one for me).    It was much fresher over the weekend (I should have taken a photograph then) but it doesn’t really matter.  We aren’t as young as we once were either!

Today SuperDad and I celebrate 20 years of marriage.
Actually, since it is the middle of a work week, there won’t be any traditional celebrating going on.  I have a meeting tonight and he’ll be asleep before I get home. Maybe I’ll make a nice dinner or maybe it will just be tacos.  Still, regardless of our busy lives, it is a day to celebrate and I surely do love that man!

  1. We “celebrated” 20 years on August 1. Actually it fell on the one day I was home between Junior Olympics with Danger Boy and visiting my sick sister in Washington, so it was more about the laundry than the romance. 25 though–that’s gonna be a party!

    Congratulations!

  2. 20 years, yeow! congrats!!!!
I am totally impressed with all the pics too, and jealous of the warm sunshine you had!

  3. Happy anniversary!

Thanks for visiting my site! 😉

  4. Happy, Happy Aniversary, and congratulations on 20 years, two children, and still being so much in love. You are so right – it doesn’t matter HOW you celebrate tonight – the important thing is that you have SO MUCH to celebrate!

  5. Very cool. Congratulations. I have figured out that it is not how you celebrate but with who. 🙂 Enjoy your day.

  6. Happy Anniversary!!!!!

  7. Ummmm. sorry! Chatty meant FOUR children! She was getting her twigs and her silver spirals mixed up there. Apologies to the two children she momentarily deprived of their parents! And, again, Happy Anniversary!

  8. Seeing as how I often call them by the wrong names, I don’t think they noticed the miscount. 🙂
