WWC: Ceramic, Paper

The Weekly Words Challenge (compliments of Tink at Pickled Beef) was to photograph and/or photographically interpret CERAMIC and PAPER.
I’m trying out some different settings on my camera, hoping to find a happy balance between fitting “enough” photos on my memory card and getting quality photographs.  Also, I had a bit of trouble getting motivated–perhaps because I am so tired today–so this is the best I could manage:

I have a love/hate relationship with my CERAMIC cooktop.

Yes, we are cheap thrifty.  No, you do not get to read the original from-the-heart messages on the inside.  Yes, we put Hallmark to shame.

  1. I think handmade cards are awesome. My best friend growing up shared a birthday with me. On the big day we’d go to CVS or Walgreens, pick out a card for each other, present them, and then put them back. WE were cheap. Hehe. Great pictures. 🙂

  2. That Polish cross is beautiful.

  3. I am so with you on the cards. I love your ceramic cross.

  4. I had a friend who purposely never got the correct card for the occasion. For example, if it was your birthday, you would receive a “so sorry your pet died” card. It was pretty funny.

  5. Ooo ceramic cook top, I should have thought of that too… 🙂 Well done!!!

  6. I have never seen a ceramic cook top before… interesting.

    Nice pics – well played!

  7. I too, love/hate my ceramic stove top. Grrrrrr… but then, on the other hand, it’s nice not to have to pull, scrub and replace those old burner trays. Nice photos!

  8. Pretty inventive for being tired!!

    Great job!

    Thanks for visiting my blog!!
