Welcome to Hicksville…don’t wear your good shoes

I saw that title once on a postcard and just had to buy it. I’ve been saving it for our ultimate dream house. Okay, so I can’t buy Gary’s parents’ place (dream on!) but there will be others, in places closer to extended family members….even if it doesn’t come close to that glorious amount of snow. (100-200 inches per season, Zowie!!) Uh, Gary…I’m not calling your folks “hicks.” No, sirree!! I’m just looking for a place for this family of wannabe hicks to settle down for good.

Still, it is never too early to work on the status we will require to live in Hicksville.

What do you think? Does this qualify, Tink?

You might be a Redneck if you name your lawn tractor "Buttercup."
