This week’s words are NAUGHTY and NICE.
Sunday afternoon we attended a lovely open house/Christmas party. We were gone for over 2 hours. Before we left, my husband opened a box from my mother and placed the wrapped gifts under the tree. In the box there was also a nice Christmas treat for Cleopatra. SuperDad set the non-gift-wrapped (but still in plastic) catnip mouse in a dish on the counter.

In our absence, 0ur naughty cat got up on the counter (a major no-no!!), helped herself to her gift, and proceeded to remove it from the packaging. I wish I had it on film, to see how long it took her!
Teeth and claws are good for opening presents!
By bedtime, the mouse was in danger of being disemboweled. I’m sure she had this accomplished by midnight:
Cleo had the munchies (Vitamin M for cats?)
That is some powerful-good catnip! I highly recommend it.

A few weeks ago, our Cub Scout Den visited the county’s safety center. They got to see how the 911 system works and then they got to sit in the nice deputy’s car.

LOL on the mangled mouse!~ Reminds me of the year Andy (our Maltese) got into the Hersheys Kisses on Christmas Eve. I came home to a roomful of wrappers (Lord knows how he did that feat) and an 8 pound dog on a sugar high. Needless to say, we finally got to bed at 4 a.m. Oh, and yes, the emergency dog hospitals work on Christmas Eve, but they said he’d be fine … it’s the cooking chocolate that’s bad for bad dogs. 🙂
I know how it is, OUR cats found the secret catnip mouse hiding spot too!

Great use of the words! I was totally expecting a “high” shot of the kitty though. Maybe he was hiding. I hear catnip makes cats paranoid. 😉

My cats would have done the exact same thing. I have to hide their catnip in an airtight container lest they always be high. Great uses of the words.. well done. 🙂
