[Yes, this IS one of those desperate “look up” what is in my archives to find ANYTHING that might work for the theme kind of days weeks. All 3 of these photographs are from a camping trip to Cape Disappointment on the Washington coast back in 2006.]

Kcinnova those are all great photos. I love the tree and did the sleepers eventually conk heads? What a sad name for such a beautiful place.
No head conking was involved. 😉
Cape Disappointment was named for the trouble ships had there at the mouth of the Columbia River. The sand bars would shift with the tides and the amount of water the river brought to the ocean and ships would run aground.
I love the “Catching Z’s” photo. It reminds me of the men in my family. They can sleep anywhere! 😀

Looks like you did well with what you had. I wouldn’t have noticed the birds in the first picture without the look up theme.

I love the Pacific Coast of Washington. We honeymooned at Kalaloch, and then later Long Beach Peninsula was our vacation spot on a regular basis. We liked to stay at the Sou’wester resort in Seaview.
