For many Americans, today is all about remembrance.

Patriot Day 2009

Most of you know that SuperDad is in the Army. The events of September 11, 2001, most certainly altered my life and the lives of my family members.

But prior to 2001, the date of September 11th had a different meaning to a small number of people throughout the world.

Here is my family’s reason for having something to celebrate today:
